NEW: tuned 133ccm APE engine for Ape 50!

By far the most exciting project of this year was modifying an engine for an APE 50. It was upgraded to 133 cc with all the bells and whistles I usually install. This included a larger cylinder with adjusted transfer ports, a different crankshaft, different timing, a different exhaust, a different ignition, a different clutch, a different carburetor, a different intake manifold, and, of course, a different primary. The gear ratio was slightly shorter because the APE is a bit heavier. You'll have to invent something with the radiator hood, or use a flywheel from an electric-start Elestart PK. But then it works. :-))

The installation of the fan wheel is not without its challenges. Milling is required at the relevant points. Tenths of a millimeter are involved here!

Without the right exhaust system, the whole thing doesn't really amount to much. Of course, the Ramair is a must. A 25 PHP is enough!

 

NEW: Further tuned PX 200 engine from Worb 5 with 228 cc for a T5 with Vape ignition!

This year, too, there was an extremely exciting project: opening up a 200cc engine with a completely jammed engine case and gearbox damage. This engine was developed by Worb 5. Very well done in terms of aerodynamics and mechanics. Fortunately, the customer opted for a VAPE ignition with static ignition timing! In my opinion, it's currently the best ignition system on the market. Driving the device is a challenge to your attention – comparable to landing an airplane. Full throttle is wonderful, but you really have to measure it. The whole thing is a lot of fun! 11 L/100km fuel to fun conversion guaranteed!! Unfortunately, the vehicle is now in Vienna with Bella Vamura, and he's having a ball!!

But no matter – I know how to make something like that :-)))
